Aurora Borealis Snow Fun Holiday in remote village Oktyabrsky
Day 1: Welcome in Murmansk region
Arrival in Murmansk airport. Meeting by driver and transfer to remote village in the centre of Kola Peninsula named; Oktyabrsky.
Be a guest in a small guest house. Your host Sergei will show you how they survive the Russian winter. Sauna. Dinner of local cuisine. Overnight.
Don’t forget to go out before sleeping the check for the Northern lights. (D)
Day 2: Sight-seeing and cross-country skiing
After breakfast, you spend the day for hiking in the village, cross-country skiing on a snowmobile track, having sauna, dinner and watching Aurora Borealis in the evenings/nights.

Day 3: Snowmobile to a mystic lake.
Breakfast. Go snowmobiling via the frozen lakes and winter forests to a mystic place on the shore of Seidozero Lake (Saint Lake).
There are no roads to this sacred lake. In Winter, it is reachable by a snowmobile. The lake keeps its ancient mystery.
On the steep rock is an image of 150 by 50 meters created by nature of dark minerals, moss and stone relieves.
It looks like a gigantic dancing shaman. Saami call it "Kuiva" (idol) and believes the place as magical. Wilderness Lunch.
When you are back to Oktyabrsky in the evening, an outdoor Japanese hot-tub is waiting for you. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4: Shamanistic ceremony
Breakfast. Day of rest and relaxation. You may walk in the village enjoying silence and quietness. In the evening, you will see shamanistic ceremony near the fire.
The shaman will introduce you to the forces of nature, turning to the spirits of place, earth, fire, air and water.
The sound of a shamanic drum scatter misfortune and disease and attracts good-luck and happiness. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5: Snowmobile excursion to ancient Petroglyphs
Breakfast. Snowmobile excursion to one of archeological memorials of Kola – the ancient rock carvings of Kanozero lake. The collection of petroglyphs is considered the most mysterious monument,
and the place has an extraordinary power. An employee of the local museum of local lore will conduct an excursion for us.
The rock carving drawings are covered with a dome. The age of the petroglyphs is about 6000 years old; it is considered an ancient place of power. Wilderness Lunch on the way.
When you are back to Oktyabrsky in the evening, an outdoor Japanese hot-tub is waiting for you. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 6: Try your luck with ice fishing
Breakfast. Today we are going to Umbozero Lake for ice fishing. The guide will show you how to fish. You will sit inside of a small tent heated up with a gas stove. Wilderness Lunch.
Sauna upon coming back to the house. Dinner made of the fresh caught fish. Overnight.

Day 7: Farewell Arctic Russia
Breakfast: Transfer to Murmansk or to Murmansk airport.
