The heart of the Kola Peninsula not far from the Monche Tundra and the Biosphere Nature Reserve is a unique area of lakes and rivers known as the Eldorado for Trout and Grayling fishermen. The lakes have also many other species of the salmon family like Arctic cisco, Brown trout, Arctic char, char and other whitefish like Perch and Pike. The rivers are ideal for fly-fishing and spooning. The lakes are excellent for trolling. The local fishermen have an average catch of 3 to 4 fishes per 3 hours. Trout, grayling and Brouwn trout can be in sizes of 3 to 5 kg.
This fishing tour is really for the adventurers, who likes to feel the real wild nature (60 km from civilization) and to live from the nature. During your adventure you have possibility to meet brown bear, elk, reindeer, fox, wolf, otters, weasel, hare and forest birds like ptarmigans and grouse. For traveling to this true Eldorado we use a Russian 4x4 troop bus. In the pointed area on the map we will set up several tent camps close to the interesting fishing spots or we stay in hunting houses. Your local guide takes care about the camps, campfires, coffee and meals when you are fishing.

Day 1: Arrival in Murmansk. Transfer to Monchegorsk and check-in at a hotel. Overnight in the hotel, dinner on your own in a recommended restaurant.
Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer by a 4x4 Army bus to the fishing area. First we drive to direction of Olenegorsk and then 100 km by a forest road to the lake complex. The last kilometres we have to use manpower and the boats to carry the food and tents to our first tent camp. During the day lunch at a campfire and dinner in the camp.
Day 3-7: Fishing, fishing and fishing. You may fish as much as you like. You will have 3 meals per day and they mostly consists of the tastiest part of your catch of the day.
Day 8: We will travel slowly by the boats back to civilisation. During the travelling you can fish. In the end of the water way, the Army bus picks us up for the transfer to the hotel in Monchegorsk. Check-in. dinner on your own in a recommended restaurant and overnight in the hotel.
Day 9: Breakfast. Departure. Transfer to the airport or a railway station.
